Can you spread in infantry when you're getting attacked by cav?

Fri Oct 13, 2017 3:03 pm

I was just wondering if you could make (See title) an exception to the spread rule, so that you can be more effecient against cav when you do 5 rows. (I use 5 rows when cav attacks, but my infantry are too spread in to do 100% effeciency of the tactic. Because its harder to penetrate 20 close-standing units than 20 loose units acting individually. I have illustrated this (See Attachments).

I don't understand what you mean. You complain that your infantry is too spread out, and yet you would like that spreading be allowed?

I am not sure what do you mean. By spread in you mean make them closer? There is no rule against putting your men in close formation.

Hallo Hoolio,

Like Diamond said before - you are free to join close Formation by pressing F2 F4 or F2 F5. Also you are allowed to close this by pressing F2 F7. This can be done 1 time to get your bots closer to each other. After Anti-cav it is recommened to press F2 F6 for spread out - 1 time to get into usual formation.

Hope we could helped you.

Oh, i am sorry, i misread the rules, i thought it said no spreading at all. As when you look at the in-game server rules it says that you cant spread at all.

No problem. In my opinion there is no "spread out" or "spread in". We all use it but there is no need to put an "out" after spreading because it means that on itself ;)
You can read full rules for example here:
