To me I have no problem with the glitch, look if you know how to do the glitch then do it quite honestly I dont give a fuck. However i still believe the the arty limit should be down to how many arty is on the map then there wouldnt really be much of the bother of the glitch, I also that the Fucking vets who sit on the arty all fucking day should give newer players a chance to play the arty its simply not fair FACT . I am getting sick and fucking tired of slaying, kicking and banning over the fucking arty because of either a vet player thinks he/she has the fucking right to do so and I WONT APOLOGIZE for saying this the admins do the fucking same what ever they godamm want while on arty. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO FAIR PLAY. 
Its fucking constant Vet complaining, admin supports the vet, and so on and so on .Then theres trolling the arty this is just the normality of the game , who will spark of silly stupid spastic debates . I will deal with the trollers right but i will not defend vet or admins on arty. This is my opinion ,I just think theirs a larger problem here than a glitch.

I don't see how fixing this ammo glitch issue is considered as nerfing the cannon system. I think how fast you can reload the cannon itself in order to get a lot of easy kill scores is nothing but like 10% of the trick, I know first hand Sarissa has never used this ammo glitch and she still gets a high kill score when she's on the cannon, though she knows about it. I believe once you know where to aim, there's not a single thing that gonna stop you from getting loads of kills, regardless of how fast you reload your cannon, except trolls obviously.

But with regards to the topic itself, I think I'm gonna stick with either keeping it or completely removing it.

Changed my vote to infinite ammo cause there's one thing that I forgot about that gretel enlightened me on. People that load bloody cannisters when you try to load round shots or vice versa. So yeah since I know what it feels like to have people load cannisters on cannon's across the map when you want round shot I'd rather have infinite ammo for everyone on cannons. Cause screw. Those. People.

Personally, first come first serve. By the "fair play" logic spawnkilling should be removed as it isn't fair play y'know, it's an older game so if a vet or a new player gets to the cannon first then it's theirs until death, another thing, the game itself on any module isn't fair.

I agree with Cammy that there should be fair play in regards to the arty, as the same people often use the arty and give other people no chances to use it. I realised I was a bit selfish myself when I used arty all the time but gave no one the chance to try it, but now I mostly play melee as infantry or watch the arty, rather than playing as the arty (the odd game i will still play as arty though, but am willing to share if the person asks). However, that doesn't mean we can put place some sort of 'fair play' rules because that would make far too many circumstances into place, such as spawnkilling or even as far as the ping.

We can't bend the rules as it is first come first serve, meaning that if a veteran wants to use the arty they can, but if a veteran happens to steal the cannon and I see this, I will not be so easy on the veteran just because he can use the cannon. I, myself, will not hesitate in even enforcing these same rules upon an admin if they even dare of attempting to steal a cannon and they know rightly themselves they weren't there first. No one should be immune to the rules, and I would like to imagine if someone even caught me, QuickOne, Bethrezen, Bearly or even Highlord doing this, they would tell us. Just because someone has used the cannon before and knows how to kill with it doesn't mean it is theirs by default. If you see an admin being unfair with a cannon, please do tell a Senior+ about their misconduct.

Ammo glitch should be removed. Infinite ammo is an acceptable option from my point of view.

I'm not sure what's a big deal about the arty ammo glitch, I would have thought most people knew about it and use it. I think we should just leave it because it gives no extra boost to the cannon it's just easier to reload the cannon instead of running back and forwards.

Except when using swivel cannons and mortars, this actually doesn't affect me (and I only noticed the glitch a week ago). I have always picked up the next shot when the cannon was rolling foward, it just takes half a second longer than the animation.

But Loifas' comment draws my attention to newbies who, for some reason, start to load shots for an experienced gunner (be nice, they're just trying to help [confused-3.png]). In the worst case, they will continue loading canister shots, even though you want to breach a wall, and they won't care even if you write in all caps in chat to stop this, pick up a musket and die, kick them and eventually in frustration quit artillery.
Not to mention, everyone will go nuts if there's no breach on certain maps.

So, it might be better to get rid of it.
